Pure Green Appointed by OX2, Hornamossen Wind Farm

PGC is pleased to announce appointment from OX2 for consulting services to their Hornamossen Wind Farm in Sweden.

This appointment builds upon PGC's Scandinavian offering and experience and we look forward to delivering the package of works which assesses the mechanically completed SGRE direct drive turbines. 

This project marks the first complete project utilising our in house PPM software, this enables OX2 (their advisors and other third parties on the project) to review the audit undertaken by PGC on a "just in time" basis.  This will allow for a fast release of the results and information to SGRE to promote a smoother take over of the project.

A "Golden Turbine" inspection will be carried out by PGC staff in October 2020, followed by a final full inpsection of all 10 turbines when the grid connection is available, prior to the final OX2 taking over.

The Hornamossen Wind Farm comprises 10 SWT-DD-130 4.3MW wind turbines with a total export capacity of 43MW. Electricity production is estimated at around 120 GWh / year. It is located on the plateau Hökensås west of Lake Vättern, in Habo municipality, Jönköping county with a maximum elevation of 345m above sea level.  The nearest major town is Mullsjö and the project is expected to be completed in 2021.
