Melton Wind Farm

PGC provides operational asset management and technical oversight services for the Melton Wind Farm, supporting the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the operational wind energy asset.

Our role includes operational coordination, contractor and stakeholder management, SCADA performance monitoring, outage planning, site inspections and ongoing support for health, safety and environmental compliance activities across the wind farm.

PGC also coordinates HV process management activities in conjunction with the appointed Senior Authorised Person (SAP), including switching coordination, permit management and liaison with the GB System Operator, DNO and electricity metering providers to support ongoing operational compliance and grid availability.

The scope further includes 24/7 operational support for grid-related communications, emergency response coordination and management of planned and unplanned curtailment events to minimise downtime and maintain operational continuity.

PGC supports the Client through ongoing reporting, inspection regimes, operational planning and performance monitoring, providing practical operational management informed by real wind farm construction, commissioning and operational experience.
